Class Descriptions


TOTAL Workout 
A full body workout in a class that is wonderfully challenging.
Cardio and Strength training is incorporated with the use of weights, gliding discs, Bosu , body bars, tubes, and more. A variety of Circuit, H.I.I.T. , and Pyramid are just a few techniques you will experience.
Beginner Weight Training
This  is a great class for those new to fitness. Students learn proper form using weight equipment. Modifications  are given to each student and basic anatomy is  discussed.
Strength Training
This class emphasizes on toning and muscular training from head to toe.
Cardio Kickbox
Break a sweat with this fun cardio workout! Build cardio endurance with a variety of kickbox moves.
YOGA
Learn yoga poses for all levels. Each teacher will bring you through movement to stretch. Strengthen and challenge your entire body. Modifications are taught. Meditation and breathing techniques are also included with each Yoga class.
chair Yoga 
​Modified stretching techniques using a chair for support. Abdominal toning and relaxation is taught. Balance is worked on. ​​​
TAI Chi/Qi gong
Learn 7 step, 8 step and 10 step routines. Qigong will mix in this class. Experience balance, breathing, relaxation and moving meditation within this class.
Beginner Yoga
This class allows you to take your mind into a quiet peaceful place through easy stretching and relaxation techniques. Be able to let go of stress and release tension.
Improve Your Posture
Gentle strength training for your postural muscles.  Experience moves to help open chest and shoulders to correct slouching.  Core strength and flexibility is also explored.

Little Movers dance
 Join us for a fun creative movement class that includes learning Ballet, playing games, and stretching. Students should wear clothing that’s comfortable and easy to move in. Hair out of face and footwear optional (barefoot, socks, or ballet/jazz shoes).

Kids Beginner Tap & Ballet
Students will learn basic tap-dancing steps as well as beginner ballet positions. Students will experience exploration of shapes, space, and music. Fun games, obstacle courses, and improvisation is incorporated into class.

*Although tap shoes are highly recommended for this class, students are welcome to wear clean, non-stick shoes.
Tiny Tappers
Tap dancing is great for working on balance, coordination, and listening skills. Students will explore various beats and rhythms, learn basic tap-dancing steps, and have fun making LOTS of noise.

Start me up!
A fun, upbeat class with modified cardio, strength training, and stretching. Class includes balance, posture, and basic anatomy education. Great class for beginners and anyone wanting to start moving again. ​
Get Fit Club
A motivational class to help learn new skills to conquer your goals.  Learn simple fitness moves to motivate you and meditation to help you take control.  Simple nutrition tips are also included.
Ballroom Cardio
Learn basic Ballroom and Latin dances in this lively dance class! No dance partner? No problem! Get your steps in and sweat it out.
Ballet Fitness
Explore basic ballet moves to improve strength and balance. Learn to elongate your body while gaining flexibility. No previous dance experience necessary.  (Attire: Comfortable clothes, shoes optional)
Belly Dance workout
Have a blast by moving with basic belly dancing moves.  Belly dancing is low impact that targets the entire body. Learn how to isolate, undulate, pop, and shimmy your body. Stretching at the end of class. FUN, FUN, FUN! Great for beginners! ​
Belly Dance Troupe
In this class we learn choreographed routines, stage presence, and blocking.    Class works on belly dancing techniques and uses veils, fan veils, scarf, cane, and zills.
Contemporary Dance (Troupe)
Contemporary dance combines lyrical, modern, jazz, and hip hop styles and techniques. It is a fun fusion of ​what is seen in the dance world today. Class focuses on combinations and routines.  All levels are welcome!
Tap I / beginner tap
Ages 10+ This class is for those who have never tapped before as well as those who want to review the basics.This class helps to strengthen lower body, increase ankle flexibility, and improve balance. Class works on technique, combinations, and choreography.
tap II / Adv. Beginner Tap
For advanced beginner or intermediate tappers. Class focuses on combinations, choreography, balance, and ankle flexibility.
tap iii / Intermediate Tap (Troupe)
For intermediate tappers. This class is taught at a quick pace and works on clean sounds, footwork, and speed. Class focuses on combinations & choreography.

Facts

When do classes start each month?
Classes start on the 1st of the month, no matter the day of the week. ​
What to Wear?
Comfy, easily movable clothes. Wear layers.  Clean sneakers/shoes to workout in.
No street shoes allowed in fitness or massage rooms.
What to Bring?
Water or other fluids. Bring your own or purchase a water here for $1.00
Our Facility:
Rooms are equipped with heat, AC, and fans. 
Facility has a bathroom.
Do you offer any classes for kids?
There are various classes for kids offered throughout the year.
Is Child Care Available?
No. We do not offer child care at our facility.  ​
