Class Descriptions


TOTAL STRENGTH
This class emphasizes on toning and muscular training from head to toe.
total workout for beginners
This is a great class for those new to fitness or anyone wanting to start exercising again. Students learn proper form while working on toning and muscular training from head to toe. 
Strength Training (20/10)
Head to toe strength training through intervals of 20/10. Cardio blended in throughout class. 
Awesome Aerobics
Break a sweat with this fun cardio workout! Build cardio endurance with a variety of moves. Class utilizes a variety of fitness equipment: BOSU, gliding discs, sports moves, and more. 
YOGA
Learn yoga poses for all levels. Each teacher will bring you through movement to stretch. Strengthen and challenge your entire body. Modifications are taught. Meditation and breathing techniques are also included with each Yoga class.
chair Yoga 
​Modified stretching techniques using a chair for support. Abdominal toning and relaxation is taught. Balance is worked on. ​​​
TAI Chi
Tai Chi basic moves are broken down in this class. Great for beginners. This class also focuses on balance techniques, energy moves, breathing techniques, and learning 7 step Tai Chi. ​​
Fun Flow yoga
This class will offer you a chance to unwind and recharge. Come relax and have FUN. No need to be perfect. All levels welcome!

Mindful Stretching
Stressed? Need a break? This class allows you to take your mind into a quiet peaceful place through easy stretching and relaxation techniques. Be able to let go of stress and release tension.
Earth & Sky Stretch
Earth & Sky Stretch is a unique blend of ancient martial & healing arts. Yoga is structured with various postures which enable to open our body to promote wellness. Tai Chi & Qigong are flowing movements directed by our body for the same end results.

The structured moves combined with the flowing moves are beneficial after a stressful day. Blend these three disciplines together for a rewarding experience and connect your body with the mind & embrace your spirit.

You will experience a gentle stretching experience from standing to seated to supine. Slow deep breathing combined with fluid lengthening stretches ending with a guided mediation will leave you relaxed.

February & March 2019 Schedule

Feb. 26th; Claiming your Space is empowering.  Through smudging and journey work, listening to or using a drum or rattle, students will learn how to set the intention of your environment, both in a building and outside, to achieve peace, empowerment and/or health.  (feel free to BYO rattle or drum)

March 4th; Chiastolite and Directional Stones are tools for connecting with your environment.  Learn about their properties through lecture, exercises and meditation.  All students will be gifted a stone.

March 11th; Drumming Circles are an effective way of shifting one’s energy and reality.  Bring a drum, rattle or just your enthusiasm for this evening of sound and fun. 

March 18th; Working with the Canvas of the Universe is an evening of lecture, exercises and meditation.  Delve deeper into the meaning of astrology as we near the Spring Equinox on the 19th and a New Moon in Aires on the 24th.  Knowledge is power as students learn that celestial bodies DO, indeed, affect the human form.

March 25th; Pranic tubes and Toruses are geometric ways of perceiving reality.  After a brief lecture Suzy will lead the class through a sound meditation with her crystal bowls.  Use this experience as an opportunity to delve deeper into alternative realities and tie your desires into this one.

Start me up!
A fun, upbeat class with modified cardio, strength training, and stretching. Class includes balance, posture, and basic anatomy education. Great class for beginners and anyone wanting to start moving again. ​
Shimmy Workout
Have a blast by moving with basic belly dancing moves. Learn how to isolate, undulate, pop, and shimmy your body. Stretching at the end of class. FUN, FUN, FUN! Great for beginners! ​
Ballroom Basics
Have you every wanted to learn ballroom dancing? This class will teach you basic ballroom moves as well as some fun two-step movements so you can dance with confidence with or without a partner.  An enjoyable class for all. No partner needed.
Ballet Fitness
Explore basic ballet moves to improve strength and balance. Learn to elongate your body while gaining flexibility. No previous dance experience necessary.  (Attire: Comfortable clothes, shoes optional)
Dance Conditioning
(Ages 10+) This class promotes body awareness & fun movement for all levels of dance and fitness. Students will learn how to properly do exercise moves (push ups, planks, squats, etc) as well as learning dance techniques/moves (pirouettes, leaps, etc.). Various class activities include: Cardio, Strength Training, Obstacle Courses, Agility Ladder, Games, Stretching, Dance Combinations Hand-Eye Coordination, and more! ​
Belly Dance routines
Have fun shimming your stress away! Belly dancing is low impact that targets the entire body. Come learn combinations and routines in this class. Class works on belly dancing technique and uses veils, scarves, shimmy belts, canes, fans, etc.
Contemporary Dance
Contemporary dance combines lyrical, modern, jazz, and hip hop styles and techniques. It is a fun fusion of ​what is seen in the dance world today. Class focuses on combinations and routines.  All levels are welcome!
Tap I / beginner tap
10+ Beginner: This class is for those who have never tapped before as well as those who want to review the basics.This class helps to strengthen lower body, increase ankle flexibility, and improve balance. Class works on technique, combinations, and choreography.
tap II / Adv. Beginner Tap
For advanced beginner or intermediate tappers. Class focuses on combinations, choreography, balance, and ankle flexibility.
tap iii / Intermediate Tap
For intermediate tappers. This class is taught at a quick pace and works on clean sounds, footwork, and speed. Class focuses on combinations & choreography.

When do classes start each month?
Classes start on the 1st of the month, no matter the day of the week. ​
What to Wear?
Comfy, easily movable clothes. Wear layers.  Clean sneakers/shoes to workout in.
No street shoes allowed in fitness or massage rooms.
What to Bring?
Water or other fluids. Bring your own or purchase a water here for $1.00
Our Facility:
Rooms are equipped with heat, AC, and fans. 
Facility has a bathroom.
Do you offer any classes for kids?
There are various classes for kids offered throughout the year.
Is Child Care Available?
No. We do not offer child care at our facility.  ​
